We have a client that has about a dozen VVX 500 phones. There seems to be some type of memory issue that the phone gets full and starts to slow down. When this happens. any of the manual buttons Dial Pad, Spkr phone button. THere is a delay in dialing numbers or going off hook when speaker phone button key is touched.

Reboot the phone and the issue goes away.  A few weeks later and the issue comes back. Its like they Logs or something are using all the memory and rebooting flushes the memory.

Has anyone else seen this and have a resolution?

Hello gtaggart,

welcome back to the Polycom Community.

The first step should be you or your client checking the logs and the status of the phone to verify there are not any configuration issues causing this.

As a follow up a Ticket via your Polycom reseller and / or Polycom support should be raised so the correct logging levels to track your issue can be advised.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards
