[FAQ] Unable to update Polycom VVX 1500 to UCS Software 5.2.0 via the Web Interface

The possibility to update a Polycom VVX 1500 Business Media Phone to UCS Software 5.2.0 via the Web Interface has been removed

 

Please follow the Technical Bulletin 695 => here <= for details on the Upgrade procedure

 

UC Software 5.2.0 changed the file format size of the actual application.

 

To upgrade the VVX 1500 phone to UC Software 5.2.0, you need to make changes to UC Software and BootBlock software components, and update the BootBlock to version 3.0.4.

 

NOTE: If you do not make these changes to the UC software and BootBlock, the phone will become non-operational !
