Hi...

 

As I recall, there is no way to have Device Mode enabled, when inserting the USB cable to the PC.

Am I correct??

 

The issue is that Device Mode don't support the Sleep settings configured on the device, so a workaround would be to have the endpoint in Poly Mode, so sleep settings is supported, and when a user insert USB cable endpoint wakes up and turn on the monitor, then enters Device Mode. When user disconnect USB cable, endpoint returns to Poly Mode and goes into sleep.

 

I have commented on the Poly feature request for Device mode to support sleep settings, but it still not there yet.

 

If sleep settings would be supported in Device Mode, end users don't have to remember to turn monitor on/off, and it is easier for them to use the endpoint.
