Hello, I am having an issue with no video on an HDX 7000. I followed the instructions for a factory reset, using the power button and the reset button, as instructed, however when I did, the screen showed a splash screen and looked like it was working, but then the power was interrupted, and now I have tried several attempts to reset it, but all it does is show a blue light for power, on the machine, and I get no signal to the LCD Monitor, that is connected via a DVI port. I have tried to scan for the ip address via angry ip scanner, but nothing shows up for it. I tried the one that was originally put in, then scanned for it with no luck. I hope it isn't bricked. Please help!
Is there a way to redo the image or firmware if you can't get it to pull up the operating system?
I have already gone through the forums and looked for this, but I didn't find anything that worked, as of yet.
Hello James,
welcome to the Polycom Community.
Please contact your Polycom reseller.
In order to raise a support ticket you need to work with your Polycom reseller as they need to do this for you.
If this is some sort of an Internet discounter please post either your phone's MAC address or your Polycom devices serial so I can look up who would be able to support you. This may not be who you purchased the Polycom device from.
Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
Best Regards

----------------I wanted to thank you for your reply.
I contacted Polycom and because my device is out of warranty (wanted 500.00 to ask a question to tech support) they told me to go to the forums.
That being said, if it is possible to reflash the polycom hdx 7000, and if so, how can I go about doing it. I have tried to reset it multiple times, tried unplugging it and letting it stay off for hours, letting it just set there for days after the reset, etc.
Explanation and Venting:
My employer was looking at using the Polycom hdx 7000 to do video conferencing, but if I can't get this working, he will probably go with another company that the equipment is a little more forgiving. This is the second one of these we have had in the past few years. We haven't even used it that much. If it weren't for an employee putting a password on it, and then leaving the company, we wouldn't be here.
I really just need a way to make this work, if it can, otherwise it is just trash.
