HDX 7000 HD with Asterisk

Hi,

I'm using a polycom HDX 7000 HD with H323 protocol and it works fine.

I need today to connect the HDX 7000 with an asterisk pabx server with the SIP protocol.

With this asterisk server I've already connected softphones and cisco phones and an SIP trunk. Everythink works, only the HDX 7000 dont whant to register itself with asterisk.

I've a message "can't connect to the Registrar Server"

Did anyone  already succed to connect a HDX 7000 with an asterisk SIP server ?

Best regards

Stephane

Hello @Stephanec ,

Welcome to the Poly Community.

Both the communities Must Read First or Read 1st and if available the FAQ reference the basic minimum information a new or follow up post should contain.

This ensures the questions having to be asked are limited and any new or follow up post contains the right amount of details to ensure any voluntary participant within the community does not spend additional time chasing basic information.

Unfortunately, your post fell a bit short of the above-explained requirements and we kindly ask you, therefore, to ensure to read these sections and ensure a reply (not Edit!) provides as much detail as possible

Please ensure you familiarise yourself with the FAQ’s listed in my signature for your convenience.

Re: HDX 7000 HD with Asterisk

Hello @Stephanec ,

We still do not know if you want to register via H.323 or SIP. Asterisk usually does not have H.323 active.

With SIP it should just work

Re: HDX 7000 HD with Asterisk

Hi,

Problem solved !

My concern was about the SIP registration.

I found this in the logs

2022-03-28 13:16:57] WARNING[2298] res_pjsip_registrar.c: Endpoint 'anonymous' (192.168.4.151:5060) has no configured AORs

In fact in the HDX 7000 the login was wrong so it try to registrer itself as 'anonymous' and that wasn't allow by the SIP server.

With the good username/password the logs changed :
[2022-03-28 13:17:00] VERBOSE[2298] res_pjsip_registrar.c: Added contact 'sip:102@192.168.4.151:5060' to AOR '102' with expiration of 300 seconds
[2022-03-28 13:17:00] VERBOSE[2298] res_pjsip/pjsip_configuration.c: Endpoint 102 is now Reachable
[2022-03-28 13:17:00] VERBOSE[2298] res_pjsip/pjsip_options.c: Contact 102/sip:102@192.168.4.151:5060 is now Reachable. RTT: 80.293 msec

Thank you
