We have a G7500 and E70 Camera setup running 3.14.1-374010 Firmware on the G7500 and 3.14.1-374010 firmware on the E70 Camera.  It's currently running GoToMeeting for the provider, but we'd like to change it to Microsoft Teams.  And yes, I'm aware it's only in preview mode since FW 3.9, but we need to switch as our licensing is running the end of the year with GTM.

Long story short, it works fine in Device Mode and GTM Provider mode with the E70, but when trying the same using Microsoft Team Mode, the camera is just black.  It doesn't turn on or off and gives no indication it's working or not.  It shows green in the diagnostics too of the G7500.  It's running Teams App version 1449/1.0.96.2022090606.

There's only 1 camera hooked up to the unit.  Anything I can check or does someone else have this issue too?  I'd love to just throw a Studio X70 up there, but that doesn't even have Teams as an option to run a MTR.

Hello @swinterstorcon ,

Greetings from Poly !

I would suggest you to wait for 4.0 and then check teams mode on G7500. In case E70 have the same issue then you can open a support case with Poly.

I guess I should search again:

Is there anyway to get beta firmware to test?

Is there any Beta program I can join to test out the new version?  I'm running out of time and this is our main conference room.

Looks like I missed the 4.0 beta windows, so I'll have to wait for it to be released.  Hoping your HP acquisition doesn't slow that down 😞

Are there any updates on the release of 4.0? The goal post have been moving for months now and last word was mid November, but still nothing is available.

Our Organization has been waiting for a fix since July. It would be a wonderful Customer Loyalty gesture to shoot straight.

I can only give the same reply/answer aka it is delayed.

We are all just volunteers here and it is not our day job so if you require an official answer please work with a Poly Reseller and/or Poly sales and they can update you on timelines.

Once it is released we will post the new software release

The best and quickest way forward is to contact our Support organisation as the community is run by volunteers only.

How is this a resolved issue?  4.0 was announced in October with a November publish date, and its February with no update from Poly.    This is a very high end product, presented as certified any day now, and teams was a 'pre-certified' version - which gives the enterprise customer the expectation of some reasonable delivery time.   G7500 has been out with teams somewhere in the neighborhood of 1+ years without certification.

Not reasonable.
