Hi

We have installed 2 Polycom Eagle eye IV cameras for our Zoom conferencing and both camera output on the QLED TV is pixelated or blur. it is connected to a MacMini running Zoom Room apps. Anyone have similar issue and any idea how to resolve it

Hello @Eric Sun ,

Welcome to the Poly Community.

Is this the Polycom EagleEye IV USB camera? If yes then as stated in the Data Sheet it is only compatible with the stated Certified Skype Room System, Polycom Trio 8800 Visual+

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards

Hi Steffen,

Yes, it a EagleEye IV USB Camera, 12x zoom with USB2.0 interface. There is no fixed or firmware upgrade for this Camera to work on Zoom room?

Regards,

Eric

Hello Eric,

to my knowledge, this is not an officially supported scenario.

I would suggest you work with Zoom on this. To my knowledge, we do not advertise this as a Camera for a Mac.

Best Regards

Hi Eric,

EE IV USB is interoperable for Zoom Rooms (see release notes) and also the camera presets are supported with the latest software version 1.2.1

I have Zoom customers using it (also with the Trio as Zoom Room controller).

Download and unzip the software in the root folder of a USB flash drive and plug it into the EE IV USB, wait until the upgrade is completed.

Jan Zoetemelk shows here how to upgrade it: https://youtu.be/AbPrDIxLiNk?t=177

Regarding the video quality/resolution Zoom uses only 720p.
