We recently installed our first Polycom VVx410 phones and all is working good except for one issue.

It seems after the phones are on for a while the start acting funny and have to be rebooted.  Common problems are the expansion module does not respond when buttons are pressed, calls can be picked up but the caller can not be heard.  We are on software version 5.4.0.5841.  It seems to happen on phones that are more active and are commonly parking or transfering calls.  We are using a Grandstream 6104 as the Voip system and they have 2 seperate locations and it happens at both sites.  A reboot seems to fix the issue for a while. Any ideas?

Hello HTCChad,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

This sounds like something our support team needs to be involved.

Please go ahead and contact your Polycom reseller so they can open a support ticket with us for you.

Alternatively please provide me with at least one MAC address of a phone so I can lookup who the reseller for you would be.

Please also ensure that the phones are able to upload and append their log files to the provisioning server.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards

Steffen,

They were bought through NewEgg. The mac of the Polycom vvx410 phone is 00:04:F2:D3:8B:92.  The vvx expansion module was purchased from the same place.  If you could provide me the seller information I will give them a call.

Hello HTCChad,

The VVX410 Phone was sold via WESTCON COLLABORATION back in July 2015.
