It is always useful to include the currently used software version as answers provided may depend on this. In addition it is also useful to state if this is a new or a used phone.

I am unsure if you yet consulted the SPIP User guide but for example this page => here <= holds the UCS 4.0.1 Version and explains on page 81 how to do this.
