Re: polycom match number in local directory

According to the documentation, even if directory matching is enabled, the phone does not match the number of the placed call to any entries in the LocalContact Directory or Corporate Directory.

For the display to update with any information beyond the number or URL as you entered it into the phone, your call server would have to send a Remote-Party-ID header to update the display as your call progresses.

To use this, you have to enable the up.useDirectoryNames="1" in the config file. I have the same problem. It seems like this only works with a local directory not a corporate.

Re: polycom match number in local directory

Hello all,

the directory Parameter only works for incoming calls.

Outgoing calls are currently not matched against the local directory.
