multicast page interop with Cisco or Panasonic

I have a large instll of Cisco phone with multicast paging working.  I have installed a few Panasonic KX-utg200 phones and they interop with page send and recieve when I put them on the same address and port.

I when I put my polycom vvx300's on the same group they do not answer or send to the other brand phones, only to the other polycom.  Is there a way to make them interop with the other brands?

Re: multicast page interop with Cisco or Panasonic

Hello SageMajor,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

Historically we added SpectraLinks PTT protocoll to our VVX, SoundPoint and SoundStation Phones when we owned them.

This was added to UC Software 4.0.0 or later but we have since then parted and I would assume the competitors you are utilizing do not use the same kind of protocol.

We describe this => here <= in detail and any change to this requires a feature request

Jan 03, 2013 Question: How can I request a change to the current Polycom SIP / UC Software?

Resolution: Please check => here <=.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
