We are experiencing an odd one here.   Phones are registering to GenBand.  All dialing is working as expected with invites being formed as DN@domain.edu.  However 911 calls are beign formed differently with the invite being 911@IP.address   .  This is killing 911 calls as teh SBC uses the domain in teh invite for routing purposes thus 911 is not finding a route.  How can one force 911 to behave like other dialed DN's.  I have verified that other 3 digit dials such as 411 are formed appropriately.

Hello UCDlfross,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

It is always useful to include the currently used software version as issues experienced may already be addressed in a newer release.

This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes.

Therefore the Polycom VoIP FAQ contains this post here:

Question: How can I find out my SIP UC Software Version or the BootROM Version of my Phone?
Resolution: Please check here

We release UCS 5.2.0 today that added multiple Genband enhancements so you may want to try this first.

MAC Address REMOVED

IP Address REMOVED

UC Software Version 5.2.0.8330

Updater Version 5.4.0.8782

Teh behavior exists in 5.2 as well.  For some reason when 911 is dialed the sip invite if formed 911@SIPSERVERADDRESS, while ALL other calls the invite is DIALEDNUMBER@DOMAIN.EDU.
