VVX600 - 5.3.0 update pushed via Lync. The phone will display there is an update available and the user must kick off the update by selecting reboot. Under details, is shows Inactivity Timeout: 900 seconds but that doesn't seem to do anything because the phone is idle over the weekend and it will still be at the update available selection on Monday. Sip.ld is not in the config file, so that isn't the problem. Any ideas?

I found the problem. The config file the phone used had
up.simplifiedSipcallinfo and up.idleStateview both set to 1. I removed both entries and now the phones automatically reboot and update after 900 seconds of inactivity. 🙂

Hello RonR,
welcome back to the Polycom Community.
Our colleague and LYNC expert Jeff Scherz has an excellent guide => here <=
The above includes checking LYNC server logs for the root cause.
I suggest you work with that and then contact your Polycom reseller if you still have issues so they can raise a case with Polycom support for you.
Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
