I am having a wierd problem with this VVX D60 Wireless phone that I bought.  I am trying to pair it with the VVX400 series phone running 5.4.3.2036 firmware.

I think the issue is that the D60 is not pulling an IP address from our DHCP server.  It doesn't matter if I plug the base station LAN port to the VVX400's PC Port, or if I plug it directly to a wall jack.  It does not pull an IP address from our DHCP server.

I would like to try to reset the base station but I can find no documentation on how the reset button on the base station is supposed to work.

Any ideas?

Hello psquared,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

Maybe a manual IP address was set.

The community's VoIP FAQ contains this post here:

May 04, 2016 Question:Are there any known VVX D60 Wireless Handset Limitations?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

I just added the reset process to the above.

Steffen,

I was thinking the same thing.  I reset the base station per the instructions given and still nothing.  I didn't even see the base station light up or anything after 7+ seconds.  I think I might just call support on this one.

In factory reset, the D60 defaults to a static IP of 192.168.1.2

Get into it and place it in DHCP mode and you’re good.
