VVX Business Phones and RFC4579

Hi,

I am trying to set up a centralized conference based on RFC4579 on VVX310 and VVX600 (firmware 5.2.0).

Currently, the phone is correctly sending an INVITE to conference factory URI (RFC4579 §5.4)

But then the Phone sends REFER to the conf-id (out of dialog, and with refer-to: participants of the conference), which is RFC4579 §5.5 ( REFER: Requesting a Focus to Add a New Resource to a Conference (Dial Out to a New Participant) ).

Is there a way to configure the phone to send REFER to the participant with refer-to: conf-id, as described in RFC4576 §5.6 (REFER: Requesting a User to Dial in to a Conference Using a Conference URI)

Thanks in advance for your help,

Best Regards,

Nadia

Re: VVX Business Phones and RFC4579

Hello Nadia,

To my knowledge the only REFER parameter we can change is VoIpProt.SIP.useContactInReferTo .

It may be useful for yourself to contact a Polycom Sales Engineer directly to work with them as we would also need to know the details for your hardware platform.

I assume you are based in North America. Are you OK for me to forward your details to a group of our SE's ?

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
