We setup BLF feature and we have quite few people we want to follow using the BLF.

- If we set the lineKey.reassignment.enabled="0" then we see our own line information at the top line and few others below it lined up. (each person followed is shown in a different line.)

- If we set lineKey.reassignment.enabled="1" then we see our own line information and other people being followed placed in boxes all over the screen.(placed like excel cells)

We want to keep own line information (<extension> - <full name>) at the top line as in first case and all the other people shown in boxes as in second case. Kind of combination of those two.

Is there a layout/config we can use to establish this?

Hello kete,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

This is currently working as designed and the normal layout once you enable this feature.

In order to get this default behaviour changed you would need to raise this via your Polycom reseller as a feature request via a Polycom sales engineer and provide a business proposal why this would be required.

Above is necessary in order to track this internally within Polycom and evaluate the request and prioritize this based on the feasibility and the general impact on other features.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards

Looks like you are using a VVX600 which allows up to 4 columns (VVX500 uses 3).

You can enable line key reassignment and set the configured line to the first column then unassign the next 3 columns that would follow next to it.

Example config:

up.numOfDisplayColumns="4"
lineKey.reassignment.enabled="1"
lineKey.1.category="Line"
lineKey.2.category="Unassigned"
lineKey.3.category="Unassigned"
lineKey.4.category="Unassigned"
lineKey.5.category="BLF"
lineKey.1.index = "1"

Note: Increment the BLF category lineKey index, starting at 5 until you reach 16.

This config will populate the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th rows and columns with BLF lines and only show the configured line in the top first row.

Line - Blank - Blank - Blank
BLF  -   BLF  -  BLF  -  BLF
BLF  -   BLF  -  BLF  -  BLF
BLF  -   BLF  -  BLF  -  BLF

Hello mguy.co,

as far as I understood the original Poster would like the first line to fill the whole bar and not being sized like the other lines, which as explained in my reply, is working as designed.
