Hello,
I have to configure 802.1x for the phones. I am reading different articles and, it seems, I have to download certificate on the phone. It says that certificate should be in PEM format, but it does not say anywhere how to create this certificate. I am checking web console of our VVX phones and do not see anything like CSR request. Can you help with this? How do I create certificate for the phone?
I tried to create csr from the phone and it created two files for me: .csr and .pem files. When I try to use either one of those files on our Microsoft Internal CA, I receive an error:
Certificate Request Denied
Your certificate request was denied.
Your Request Id is 476. The disposition message is "Error Constructing or Publishing Certificate".
Contact your administrator for further information.
Can someone help me with this? How can I get certificate from our CA that I could enter and install to Platform CA1 and use it for 802.1x authentication?
Thank you.

Hello KPABA,
as outlined in some of your other Post already we require you to open a ticket with Polycom support via your reseller if you believe there is an issue with our Software.
You may want to read this for more information:
Mar 8, 2012 Question: What kind of support should I expect from the Community?
Clarification: Please check => here <=
Only following the above allows us as a professional support team to identify and if required rectify an issue.
In addition to the above it is always useful to include the currently used software version as issues experienced may already be addressed in a newer release.
This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes.
The above is also stated in the "Read First: Welcome to the Polycom VoIP Forum"
Therefore the Polycom VoIP FAQ contains this post here:
Question: How can I find out my SIP UC Software Version or the BootROM Version of my Phone?
Resolution: Please check here
