Hi, I just got a VVX 500.  It's a beta unit.  The phone goes off hook every 30 minutes.  Is it because it's a beta unit?

welcome to the Polycom Community.

 

You should really contact your Beta Phone Provider as we only discuss production models here.

 

Have you ensured that you are on the latest Software Version?

Thanks for your reply.  I'll contact my provider.  Software version on the phone is 4.0.1.7931.  Is it the latest one?  Thanks.

Hello Bigfish,

 

the official, non Beta final release of UCS 4.0.1 is 13681 so I would imagine that a later Beta should be available.

 

You can try that via the web interface.
