VVX 500 Message Light Blinking

After I complete a call the red light indicating a message starts to blink. I can restart or reboot the phone and the light will go out until a new call is ended and the light starts to blink again.


Is there any solution to this problem?

Hello Blindman,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

There must be some kind of MWI message being send from the SIP server to the VVX. A Wireshark trace would show this.


I suggest you contact your SIP platform provider to get this checked.
