VVX 410 running UCS 5.2 remove Hold softkey

Hi,

Is it possible to remove the hold softkey while on an active call because their is a physical button anyway. I don't want to remove the transfert softkey, only the hold one.

Thx !

Hello DavidG,

above, as stated in the Admin Guide will remove any key that has also got a hardkey. Simply add the Transfer key back via an Softkey.

Re: VVX 410 running UCS 5.2 remove Hold softkey

Hello DavidG,

welcome back to the Polycom Community.

I can always recommend the UC Admin Guide as a source for various Parameters.

Page 519 in the <softkey/> section mentions below parameter:

softkey.feature.basicCallManagement.redundant

  • Control the display of the Hold, Transfer, and Conference soft keys.

If set to 0 and the phone has hard keys mapped for Hold, Transfer, and Conference functions (all must be mapped), none of the soft keys are displayed.

If set to 1, all of these soft keys are displayed.

In case of the VVX410 only the Conference Softkey would remain as it does not have a hardware button counterpart.

Re: VVX 410 running UCS 5.2 remove Hold softkey

Hi,

On a VVX 410 the hold and transfer do have a hardware button. I would like to keep the transfer softkey and only remove the hold softkey. Is this possible ?

Thx !
