Hello,
I have been trying to get the redial icon to be displayed on a vvx 401, we use a provisioning server to enter config overrides.
In the server's webUI I just have to add to an overrides list
homeScreen.redial.enable="1"
It will then automatically generate and add this in the config file to push to the phone:
<homeScreen> <homeScreen.redial homeScreen.redial.enable="1"/> </homeScreen>
When the phones boot without being able to connect to the server the redial icon is displayed in the home screen, but even with no other options selected it will not show up while it can connect to the server.
All other homescreen icon settings either enabling or disabling such as do not disturb or calendar work fine with this method.
Is there something I may be missing or something else that might be conflicting that disables it?
UC Software Ver.
5.5.2.8571
We are running netsapiens on the server.
Thanks in advance
HH

Hello HHMSig,
welcome to the Polycom Community.
It is always useful to post some logs so we or others can try and spot any issues in there.
The next official step would be to work with your Polycom reseller.
In order to raise a support ticket you need to work with your Polycom reseller as they need to do this for you.
If this is some sort of an Internet discounter please post either your phone's MAC address or your Polycom devices serial so I can look up who would be able to support you. This may not be who you purchased the Polycom device from.
Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
Best Regards
