Hello @Shady mahmoud,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

It is always useful to include the currently used SIP or UC Software version as issues experienced or a question asked may already be addressed in a newer release.

This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes, Administrator Guides or FAQ post’s.

The above is also stated in the "Must Read First" and is the absolute minimum requirement every new post should include. .

In addition providing us with this basic information gives Polycom an idea what Software Versions are used in the field and avoids wasting time trying to troubleshoot issues which have already been addressed.

Therefore the Polycom VoIP FAQ contains this post here:

Question: How can I find out my SIP or UC Software Version of my Phone?
Resolution: Please check here

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards

ok it's vvx 1500 with software update uc: 5.5 we try downgrade and upgrade with no sucess

and we open a case with cisco and that is the their final ouput:

** We need to check why polycom is behaving differently with the 2 phones and not sending the frames correctly

kindly contact me on shady.mahmoud992@gmail.com to send you the wireshark traces for more clarefication.

AS NOW when me make a call from vvx1500 to cisco 9971 the vedio is working normally,

but when we call from vvx 1500 to cisco 8845 there is one way vedio call.

cisco team say that in 9971 phone the " that the Polycom is sending correct IDR frame with first_mb_in_slice: 0."

but in 8845 cisco say that  "Initially there is a SPS and PPS frame but no IDR frame sent by Polycom to 8845."

what can i do on polycom settings to solve this issue.???

Hello @Shady mahmoud,

welcome back to the Polycom Community.

You can post wireshark traces and configuration but I will not reach out to you via Email to provide free support.

In addition posting an incomplete version number will not help others. Please always post complete version numbers like 5.5.3 or similar.

Based on what you provided from Cisco I checked internally and there may be a similar issue worked at present. In order to compare or verify we would need you to get a ticket raised.

In order to raise a support ticket you need to work with your Polycom reseller as they need to do this for you.

End Customers are unable to open a ticket directly with Polycom support.

If this is some sort of an Internet discounter please post either your phone's MAC address or your Polycom devices serial so I can look up who would be able to support you. This may not be who you purchased the Polycom device from.

The reference that this needs to be matched to is 1-6942215871 / VESC-8032 / EN-57709
