Hi Everybody,

Does anyone successfully registered a VVX 1500 on LYNC and successfully created a video call to another VVX 1500/ LYNC client?

best regards,

Kim

Kim,  you can use these articles to setup integration with Lync and Exchange on the VVX1500:

In the current release video calls over Lync between two VVX1500 phones is supported, but video calls between a VVX1500 and a Lync client is not supported (although it does still work in most scenarios).  Only internally registered devices are supported as there is no Edge Server media relay (ICE) support yet either.

Hi kimmalinao,

Did you complete VVX configuration in Lync 2010 & 2013 environment. How is it working and any feedback to share us ?

Hello Mahesh_C,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

The VVX1500 is not officially LYNC 2010 or LYNC 2013 certified and is only LYNC 2010 compatible.

Video Calls are currently not supported.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

 Hi Steffen,

Thanks for the confirmation.

I'm quite impressed on the VVX 1500 features and product, hence exploring it for Lync.

Do we have any update by when VVX 1500 will be certified for Lync 2010 and 2013 ?

And also can confirm, if there any plans in future release to enable Video calling for this product ?

Thanks,

Mahesh
