Hi Folks,

I have a client that will be using VVX411 phones via Vonage Business. The firmware version is UC Software 5.9.6.3057 and one of the MAC addresses is 48:25:67:26:27:14.

They are coming from a POTS system that allows them to speed dial via entering a contact ID. Since they have about 30 entries setup I would like to see if they can continue using speed dial with a two-digit ID rather than searching through a contact list on their phones. For example, they might press a certain key, then the two digit ID and the appropriate contact is dialed.

Since they are using Vonage Business I would need to be able to set this up via the web interface to the phones as opposed to using the Vonage provisioning server.

Alternately, does Poly (or anybody else) provide dialing software with at least minimal contact management ?

Many thanks for the help,

Denis

Hi Steffen,

It seems like this solution requires access to the provisioning server ? If so we can't do that since we use Vonage Business as our provider. Is there any way to import contacts into a VVX411 otherwise ?

Thanks,

Denis
