Hello, I'm trying to get one of our SoundPoint IP 550/SIP phones (firmware version 4.02b) to register to our Cisco Call Manger (version 8.6.2), This is the first time we are attempting this and I have not had much luck finding any configuration documentation for the 550 (I' was able to find some third party registration documentation for the call manager). Does anyone have any experience with this and can you provide the required configuration changes for the phone. So far the only thing I've done on the Polycom side is change the registration address in the SIP-Basic file to the CUCM.

----------------Steffen, thanks for the information. The Details document is for the Polycom SoundPoint conference phones. I assume these same instructions will work for the model 550 phones we are trying to register to the CUCM? Do you know if my assumption is correct? Thanks.

our official certification was only based on the SoundStation IP Phones and not on any of our other phones.
All of our phones are utilizing the same software but we officially only support the SoundStation IP products.
