Hi,

for reference here is the scenario:

Poly Trio 8800 (5.9.1 AC) is SIP registered to a VBP

Our customer wants to set up exchange calendar integration.

We've been using the following parameters for testing.

device.set="1"
device.loginCred.user.set="1"
device.loginCred.user="[Trio user]"
device.loginCred.password.set="1"
device.loginCred.password="[Trio Password]"
device.loginCred.domain.set="1"
device.loginCred.domain="[Trio Domain]"
feature.exchangeCalendar.enabled="1"
exchange.server.url="[Exchange Server URL]"

This set up is working perfectly. Calendar entries show up on the Trio, everything is working as expected.

However the customer told me for Production Trios, they have nothing but a Room Resource created. According to "standards or best practices" those can not be used for authentication.

Is their a way to use a different User for exchange integration than the Room Resource account itself?

I know the "Bluejeans Relay" is doing something like this. They use a single user, that has access to all Room Resource Calendars and provide a different Exchange Service URL to the Trios.

Can something similar be done without Bluejeans relay?

Thanks in advance,

Martin

Hello @mvonderforst ,

Welcome to the Poly Community.

In the latest Trio UC Software 5.9.2 we added account impersonation. This may be what you are after.
