Hello,

 

I noticed that the TRIO 8800 is experiencing an issue when trying to enter the admin page.  The keyboard will popup for a split second and then hide or if you hit a key, it will auto-hide.  To actually enter the password and access the admin page the user would have to exit out of the admin password page and re-enter a few times then it will work.

 

 

Anyone else experiencing this issue?  It's causing a problem with local users.

 

Software version : 5.4.3.2007

welcome back to the Polycom Community.

Working daily with the Trio and having to add the Password many times a day I have personally not seen this or heard customers report this.

 

  • Is the Touch Screen in general responsive and is this in LYNC base profile or Open SIP ?
  • Any kind of debug logging running?

The touch screen seems to work fine and the phone is running in Lync base profile mode.  I don't see any issues controlling other areas of the UI, just the admin password keyboard popup.

 

The logging is currently set to default but I can set specific logging to debug if you would like.  The TRIO is running in our lab so I can certainly test and get some logs for support.

 

 

I don't recall seeing this issue in the past but it is definitely happening now.

this is something we should open a support ticket for.

In order to raise a support ticket you need to work with your Polycom reseller as they need to do this for you. In case this is some sort of an Internet discounter please post your phone's MAC address so I can look up who would be able to support you.
