I recently purchased a VVX600 with an expansion module to use with RingCentral.  I have configured the phone to work with RingCentral (after an hour with technical support).

Now I'm trying to add speed dial numbers onto the expansion module.  I'm finding that I can't add them without first filling up the VVX 600's screen with 16 speed dial numbers.

Is there no way to use just the expansion module?  I'm not sure I have access to the config files unless there is a way I can SSH or telnet into the phone.  I don't see them in the web config page, and I definitely don't have access to them if they are on RingCentral's servers.

Basically I would like my line 1 and line 2 (which will be configured with my office's SIP server) to appear on the VVX600 along with 2 speed dial numbers.  The other speed dial numbers I want to appear on the expansion module.

Thanks for any help you can provide!

Where do I put those strings?  I don't have access to the config files as RingCentral's servers probably provision them.  Or can I access them directly on the phone?

I don't have a contact list listed on my web config page.

I wish I had never messed with it because now when the phone boots up it's giving me a missing config files warning and reverts back.
