I'd like to store a contact number with one or more pauses within it. How can i do it on polycom 601 with firmware 2.2.2 - can you tell me where to find it in admin guide.
thanks.
Hello nikita,
I vaguely remember something about a speed dial / contact directory entry that could contain a "p" or a ", " or a " . " to add a pause but could not find any information in the older admin guides.
This was well before my time joining Polycom and it could simply be not possible on these old end of sale units.

----------------Hello all,
I have added an explanation to the community's VoIP FAQ post here:
Nov 4, 2011 Question: How can I change the functionality of an Hardware Button?
Resolution: Please check => here <=
The new Option 4 explains this functionality and you will need to verify the availability with the currently installed software.
This does not directly enable a number to be stored with a pause and uses the efklist as a workaround in conjunction with the local directory.
Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
