Hello!

Apologies if this has been covered already, though I have looked through the forums for a while.

I have an HDX 7000 (software 3.1.3-38278) and a SoundStation IP 7000 (latest UC software 4.0.8.1608).

I am trying to integrate the SoundStation IP 7000 for use with the HDX (HDX is already setup). In the manual I see that I need to go to Settings>Advanced>Admin Settings>HDX Extension and set that to the same as the already setup HDX extension.

However, I do not have this as an option on the IP 7000.

What am I missing?

As a note, the IP 7000 is not registered with our PBX (CUCM) at the moment.

Hello Jason Ryan,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

Is the SSIP7000 connected to the HDX / GroupSeries via the CLink cable ?

If yes then the menu should display it:

If there is no CLINK connection and only a Ethernet cable then the menu does not appear.

Steffen,

Thank you, that was it!

Side question, calling from the IP 7000 is working and the video is good. The remote station can hear me but I cant hear them.

I recall a document that specified the HDX/IP 7000 audio out scenarios.

Do you know where that might be?
