Hello PolyCom Community,

We have a PolyCom SoundStation IP 6000 connected to an AltiGen MaxCS 6.5 server. Thanks to a great detailed document I found online, I was able to get the phone mostly configured to work with our phone system via SIP.

Everything works great except we can't use the phone to make 10-digit local calls. We can make calls to internal extensions (e.g. 204, 306, etc.) or to long distance numbers (e.g. 9 1 2135551212), but we can't make local calls of the format (9 9035551212) (903 being our local area code).

I'm far from a VoIP expert, so I'm not even sure where to start troubleshooting this. Thanks for any advice.

Hello Seth,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

The community's VoIP => FAQ <= contains this post here:

Oct 7, 2011 Question: Phone unable to Dial a number when Off Hook or on 2nd Call in a Conference

ResolutionPlease check => here <=

This is most likely a local digitmap issue and you can either remove the digitmap on the phone or check the above detailed post to modify it for your setup.
