I am trying to get a Soundstation 6000 registered to a Siemens HiPath 4000 but keep getting SIP 401 (UnAuthorized) messages. In the SIP registration messages I do not see where the Soundstation is passing the username in the registration request and I believe this is why registration is failing.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please see information below for SW versions, configs, and traces:

Hello nspitzer,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

Not all settings can be changed via the web interface.

 

Check the admin guide for something like voIpProt.SIP.requestValidation.x.method and the relevant other Parameters.
