[SoundStation IP 7000] - Cannot change language of WebGUI or Phone

Hi all,

 

we've got us a SoundStation IP 7000 running the latest firmware 4.0.14.0987.

We'd like to change the language of the Phone (LCD-Screen) to a different language than english.

Selecting a different language (like "Deutsch (de-de)") from the WebGUI from the top-right corners drop-down menu results in an error:

Hi @pabe,

 

you´ll need a Provisoning Server to install additional language:

Sep 16, 2015 Question:Why am I unable to change the language on a SSIP7000, SPIP670, SPIP650, SPIP560, or SPIP550 without a Provisioning Server running UC Software 4.0.0 or later?

Resolution: A local provisioning server is required as explained in this post => here <=
