Hallo
i use Polycom Soundstation 5000 in our LAN. The problem is that the devices don´t get a IP form the DHCP- Server.
I checked this wirh Wireshark. There i can see that the Server made a DHCP Offer but the Soundstation doesn´t send the ACK back to the Server.... Any idea ???
THX
Hello Mario Lieb,
welcome to the Polycom Community.
It is always useful to include the currently used SIP or UC Software version as issues experienced or a question asked may already be addressed in a newer release.
This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes, Administrator Guides or FAQ post’s.
The above is also stated in the "Read First"
Therefore the Polycom VoIP FAQ contains this post here:
Question: How can I find out my SIP or UC Software Version of my Phone?
Resolution: Please check here
Can you attach the Trace so we can check if there are any LLDP / CDP or VLAn issues?
Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

----------------Hi Steffen
to attache the trace is difficult. But i have another information for you. When i use a Soundstation IP 7000 on the same Port in the same VLAN, Same Config the device become a IP and it works. Only the 5000er doesn´t get an IP.
Lable: SIP
Version 4.0.8.1972
Model: Soundstation IP 5000
Assembly: 3111-30900-001 Rev H
May be i can send the Trace via Mail direct to you.
Hello Mario,
just to catch up on here I am working directly with you on case 1-5488098814.
It seems an Option 43 in this network is causing the issue for the SSIP5000
