Hello all,

we just released Rove 8.0.2 software for the B2, B4, R8, Rove 40 and Rove 30

What’s New in This Release

These release notes provide important information on important field fixes and the following new features:

  • Request Configuration Files with a check-sync SIP NOTIFY Message
  • DTMF Enhancements

Request Configuration Files with a check-sync SIP NOTIFY Message

Poly Rove DECT IP phones can request configuration files from the provisioning server when they receive a check-sync SIP NOTIFY message. This enables you to resync and push new configurations to devices without rebooting the system. This feature is enabled by default.

To disable this feature:

  • In the system web interface, go to Service Providers > Common Settings > SIP.
  • Enable X_AcceptResync to no.

DTMF Enhancements

This release adds a new DTMF Inband method. System now supports four types of DTMF methods, which include the following options:

  • Inband (new)
  • RFC2833SIP
  • SIPInfo
  • SIPInfo + RFC2833

Added support to configure DTMF Inband tone length, delay, and volume.
