Good morning Polycom Community,

I have an informational question regarding SCA on Polycom phones.

We are using broadsoft R17 SP4 as our soft switch, here is the scenario that i am look for help with;

Phone A configured with 1 line, Phone B has line 1 configured and line 2 configured as a shared appearance for Phone A. "shared line is set to type "shared" ". When calls come in to phone A it alerts line 1 on phone A and shared line 2 on Phone B. when the handset on Phone B is picked up while phone A is dialed, Phone B answers on a shared line by default which is a normal behavior.

What we would like to do is when phone B is picked up, by default, we want to engage phone B's line 1 instead  of answering the call on  shared line.

This was a request of one of our customer in a Boss/ Secretary scenario.

Please let us know if this is possible or if you need additional information from us.

Thank you

Ayo

Hello Ayo,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

This sounds like you may be using the call.stickyAutoLineSeize="1" Parameter.

Make a backup of your configuration via your Phones Web Interface and cross check this.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards

Hi,

the next step is to work with your Polycom reseller and/or Polycom support to follow this up.

Best Regards
