Hi all,
I have a client requirement that has Polycom ip331 terminals and it wants to see their communications encrypted  in TLS signaling and in the media with SRTP.

Since I've never done this before, I'm trying to emulate a situation in the laboratory. The VoIP server is Asterisk and the terminals are as previously mentioned Polycom IP331.

In Asterisk I've created a certificate and a Key. See annex.

And then I've exported the CAs to the polycom Phones Successufully. See annex.

Server Certificate Common Name '10.192.230.232' doesn't match any of the following:
000016.278|sip |4|03|[TLS] Hostname: 10.192.230.232
000016.278|sip |4|03|[TLS] Outbound Proxy: 10.192.230.232
000016.278|sip  |4|03|[TLS] Hostname connection: NONE

And I've got the following error:

The version of Polycom IP331 is:
UC Software Version 4.0.3.7562 BootROM Software Version 5.0.3.1667

I Can't understand these errors...

Can anybody helm me please?

Hello 1ber2,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

First you are using an unsupported software as this should be using UC Software 4.0.12 or later

The community's VoIP FAQ contains this post here:

Apr 23, 2013 Question: How can I setup SRTP / Secure RTP?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

and

Apr 17, 2013 QuestionHow can I setup a TLS connection for SIP signaling and / or troubleshoot this?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

Please ensure you always check the community FAQ and/or utilize the community search before posting any new topics or follow up post’s.

I suggest you check the above, use the troubleshooting and then maybe attach a backup:

May 25, 2017 Question: Can I create a backup of my current configuration?

Resolution:Since UC Software 4.0.0 or later a backup can be created via the Web Interface Utilities > Phone Backup & Restore > Phone Backup > Phone Backup

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards
