Hello,

Apparently, SNOM and Aastra phones support Caller ID updates during an established call based on SIP INFO messages :

http://forum.snom.com/index.php?showtopic=4679

Do Polycom phones support it too ?

Is there another way to update the caller ID of an established call ?

Thanks,

Damien

Hello Damien,

as you have not provided the exact RFC that includes this functionality I am unable to confirm if we officially support this feature.

I am aware that in SIP 3.2.6, UCS 3.3.2 and UCS 4.0.0 we added:

67622 Phone displays correct caller ID from a group pickup number

Above added the functionality on a re-INVITE to update the remote address or to allow to change the display if there is no "Remote-Party-ID" like header.

Best Regards
