Hi all,

Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere but I cannot find the answer

I bought a number of SoundPoint IP450 from eBay and having issues with one of them. It appears to have some sort of baked in config that will not reset no matter how hard I try.

I have tried the usual 1357 trick and this does reset the password until it boots up and then it reverts to another password.

I have tried it offline and it still boots to the same config after every 1357 restart

Is there another way to factory reset the IP450 without having access to the menus

 

It is picking up some of the setting from my provisioning server, Background, Softkeys, directory time settings. Just not its assigned login to the system. all the other phones have worked flawlessly to provision just this one is being a pain and my google foo has run out 


I have attached the screenshot of the Firmware

I can see you already opened 34222669 with our support organization.

 

Not knowing who had these phones before or their history I can only assume this was pre-programmed in the factory for a specific customer. There is nothing you can do as you already tried to restrict access to the internet and the device still runs the same Config. This must have been done in the factory and as the device is more than 11 years out of warranty there is nothing we can do.
