i had integrated ip phone 331 with MS-lync 2010, using provisioning server methode. It can login and registered line with lync server 2010. when it receive call from another lync user, the communication working fine for both side. Problem when it used to call another user on lync, i can heard voice from receiver side, but receiver side could not heard voice from caller side so did not work good as well. i had tried same experience with cx-600, and working fine for both communication used same login user. what did miss setting in ip phone 331?. thanks for support.

Hello heruts,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

It helps the community immensely if your in addition provide your current software version. How to find this is described in the FAQ.

Most likely you are using UCS 4.0.x and this software has some limitations if EDGE / ICE / STUN is used within the LYNC network or Media Gateways.

Polycom's latest Software UCS 4.1.x has full support for this.

Please be aware of the following when utilizing UCS 4.1.0 or later:

The use of Polycom UC Software versions 4.1.X (“Software”) requires the purchase of a separate Software license for every device that will use the Software in a Lync environment. You may not install, access, or use the Software in a Lync environment on more devices than are listed on your license until additional licenses have been purchased and authorized by Polycom. These licenses should be purchased from the same company from which you purchased the devices. You may operate devices against a Lync server for trial purposes for up to 30 days without purchasing a license. Use of the Software is subject to the terms and conditions of the End User License Agreement.

Polycom reserves the right to audit your deployment to verify that you have sufficient licenses to match the number of devices being used.

Utilizing UCS 4.1.x is quite simple and you should consult the UCS 4.1.0 Admin Guide, especially the chapter:

To set the Base Profile to Lync using the multi-key combo shortcut
