My company is currently using the polycom ip550. We have a SAP BCM phone system and recently did a upgrade on the system. We were on SP6 and went to SP7 and notice a difference on the name display when getting an inbound calls. On SP6 the display name, for example,( Johnson, Joe) and now we are on SP7 and it is saying ( Johnson, %20Joe). There was a space between Johnson and Joe and it is putting a %20 in place of the space. I no this is probably a configuration file issue but do not know how to resolve it. Can someone help me with this. Thanks.

Hello Robert1960,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

It is always useful to include the currently used software version as issues experienced may already be addressed in a newer release.

This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes.

Therefore the Polycom VoIP FAQ contains this post here:

Question: How can I find out my SIP UC Software Version or the BootROM Version of my Phone?
Resolution: Please check here

In addition you may want to reach out to your SIP PABX provider as they would have done the interoperability testing with our Phones to ensure they can support these.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards

Steffen Baier
