Hi Guys,
I have a case open with Polycom but it's dragging so I wanted to post here in case anyone else has ran into this issue before.
I am using Polycom VVX phones (5.0.2). with Microsoft Lync, all is working fine except getting location using LLDP-MED and Set-CSLISSwitch.
Now, my CX devices and Windows 8 clients are working correctly so I know that my Lync configuration is good.
Has anyone else gotten a VVX phone to pick up the location via switch (rather than subnet)?

Polycom has provided us with a test build for 5.1.1.xxxx and it fixes the issues when setting Lync location via the Set-CsLisSwitch command.
If anyone else has this issue with Lync and VVX phones, please contact Polycom Support for a hot fix.

Hi Guys,
This has been confirmed a bug by Polycom support. Currently, the VVXs cannot get Location from Lync if you use the Set-CSLISSwitch command. Until a fix is released, the work around is to use subnets or attemp to use config files from your central provision server to set location to phones.
