Polycom Trio 8500 moving from RingCentral to Zoom Phone
My company currently has a Polycom Trio 8500 that was purchased through RingCentral. It's got their specific firmware installed on the unit but we are considering moving our voice services over to Zoom Phone. Is it a simple reflash of the firmware on the device to Zoom's software? Are there any other considerations that I should take into account?
I am not aware of a special firmware from RingCentral but everything is possible. I suggest you check with our Partner Ring Central on this and that they are able to release the MAC address of the devices from ZTP/PDMS-SP so you are able to provision the units.
