Hello everyone,

With our 550/560 phones the directedCallPickupString (*78) is sometimes sent twice (~10%) when attempting to retrieve a parked call (via an attendant automata button). e.g. sending *78*78123 instead of *78123.

Changing the directedCallPickupSting to the alternate *4 yields the same results.

This results in a failed parked call retrieval.

These failures seem to occur in batches. If a phone initially fails to retrieve the parked call by double sending the string then all subsequent attempts to retrieve the call fail until the user gives up.

SipXecs 4.6.0 update 6

550/560 4.0.3.7562

Thanks in advance for any help or insight.

Hello SkekTek,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

I would suggest you contact your Polycom reseller and/or Polycom support as this would need to be troubleshot via changing some log settings and attempting to reproduce this.

In addition I would suggest to run the latest UCS 4.0.4 software to exclude any software issues.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards
