Poly VVX201 - Screen Capture

Hello Poly Community,

this is my first article and I need your help urgently.

At the moment we are doing the migration from the skype 3PIP gateway to teams gateway followed by the recommendation of microsoft: Upgrade Skype for Business Online (3PIP) phones to Microsoft Teams using SIP Gateway - Microsoft Com...

We would like to sign in the device (Poly VVX201) remotely but we are not able to scroll down to the microsoft access code.

We have tried with the Device Operate Console and with the screen capture function, but we are not able to see the sign in token.

How do we get the code displayed?

Re: Poly VVX201 - Screen Capture

Hello @HF-IT ,

Welcome to the Poly Community.

Both the communities Must Read First or Read 1st and if available the FAQ reference the basic minimum information a new or follow-up post should contain.

This ensures the questions having to be asked are limited and any new or follow-up post contains the right amount of details to ensure any voluntary participant within the community does not spend additional time chasing basic information.

Unfortunately, your post fell a bit short of the above-explained requirements and we kindly ask you, therefore, to ensure to read these sections and ensure a reply (not Edit!) provides as much detail as possible

As an example, is the phone you are using one of the ones listed as compatible >here< ?

Please ensure you familiarise yourself with the FAQs listed in my signature for your convenience.

The best and quickest way forward is to contact our Support organization as the community is run by volunteers only.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards

Steffen Baier

Re: Poly VVX201 - Screen Capture

Hello @HF-IT

apologize I just realized the Subject contains the phone model.

I suggest you get this into support as Microsoft has certified this for VVX 201 so we can work with them.

Best Regards

Re: Poly VVX201 - Screen Capture

Hello @HF-IT

It took me a bit to replicate as you must have used http://emea.ipp.sdg.teams.microsoft.com/lang_de to provision the phone instead of just simple English.

Please use the Navigation Bar on the right hand side of the phone and use the arrow down buttons and you can see the code:

This is the view before

Or use English to provision the phone.

Maybe look at our free Poly Lens as explained >here< via Easy Poly Lens Assisted Provisioning

Best regards

Re: Poly VVX201 - Screen Capture

Hello @HF-IT  and others,

as we discussed via Email and your own solution is a power shell script.

The REST API can be used to get the code too:

- /api/v1/mgmt/webSignIn

Best regards
