I use polycom unregistered version on L2 find in FAQ https://community.polycom.com/t5/VoIP-SIP-Phones/FAQ-Add-Zoom-interoperability-to-the-Polycom-Trio/t...

I have a question about the difference with the registered and not registered version. I see in file from Steffen Baier

reg.2.address [provided by zoom]
reg.2.server.1.address [provided by zoom]
reg.2.auth.userId [provided by zoom]
reg.2.auth.password [provided by zoom]

What is the benefit of having this

And what is value because Zoom support department don't known this value

Regards

Hello @MRC Du LAc-St-Jean Est ,

Welcome back to the Poly community.

Some or a couple of your old post(s) or reply(s) to them => here <= are still open/pending as you have not marked these as "Accept as a solution" or at least provide some form of feedback or answer.

If they are in this state nobody finding them via a community search will know if an answer or advice provided was useful and has maybe helped you.

Could you therefore kindly go over them and mark or answer as appropriate?

If they are marked as "Accept as a solution" other users can find these easier and it helps them to utilise the community more efficiently. Please do not simply mark them without any type of feedback.

For your new issue the instructions should be very clear:

  • NOTE: For issues with this configuration do not contact Zoom and work with your Polycom reseller

I do not have this information and the above guidelines have been shared with us by Zoom support.

We have discussed this in the past >here<

I am unaware of how you would get these credentials but I assume these would be shared if you have a Zoom Phone account?

Please use the unregistered variant if you are utilizing the Hybrid example.

The next step, if no other community volunteer has any other ideas, would be to open a support ticket.

In order to raise a support ticket, you need to work with your Poly reseller as they may need to do this for you.

End Customers are usually unable to open a ticket directly with Poly support. Available End User Poly services offerings are detailed here

If this is some sort of an Internet discounter providing your MAC address or your Poly devices serial will enable us to look up who would be able to support you. This may not be who you purchased the Poly device from.

If the unit is no longer within the warranty please be prepared to Pay Per Incident / PPI. This is all outlined in detail here

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards

Steffen Baier

Hello @MRC Du LAc-St-Jean Est ,

Support is free as long as the Reseller has access to our support team. The below information would enable me to find who you purchased from.

If this is some sort of an Internet discounter providing your MAC address or your Poly devices serial will enable us to look up who would be able to support you. This may not be who you purchased the Poly device from.

I am unaware of your history with this and a Reseller can be found here:

https://www.poly.com/gb/en/partners/why-buy-authorized

We do not have enough information on what you are trying to archive but as already replied simply use the unregistered examples when you are also using other lines (Hybrid)

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards

Steffen Baier
