Hello.  We are using the Poly 8800 as a Zoom Room controller over ethernet only with the Poly Virtual USB Connector.  It works great with the exception of one function, the volume.  We have been unable to control the volume of the meeting/phone call/speaker at multiple levels.  The volume is set to either be a little louder than most people are comfortable with or entirely off.  It does not matter where the volume slider is - the volume does not change until it gets to the lowest or the highest setting and then changes to that.

We know it is the Virtual Connector because if we have tested with a USB cable attached from the Trio directly to the computer with the Passthrough software and that worked as it should.  We have tried reinstalling and configuring sound settings on the Zoom Room computer to only be the Trio but always come back to the issue being the Virtual Connector.

Has anyone else had these issues?  Is there a way to fix it or overcome it?  We would love to continue using the Trios as Controllers and phones for the conference rooms.  Thank you.

Hello @Magamus ,

Welcome to the Poly Community.

Both the communities Must Read First and the FAQ reference the basic minimum information a new or follow-up post should contain.

This ensures the questions having to be asked are limited and any new or follow-up post contains the right amount of details to ensure any voluntary participant within the community does not spend additional time chasing basic information.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards

Steffen Baier
