Phone number vs SIP URI

Hi Guys,


one Q was raised by one of my customer.


CX600: if the user opens the contact groups and wants to call an external contact (never called before) , who is not listed in Exchange but in Lync buddies, he gets only displayed the email address and NOT the phone number.

The business card on the phone for this contact shows up the email address and no phone number on the last item.


This behavior doesn´t change if he has called the contact via Lync.


Is this behavior as designed by MS or is it possible to configure the phone number to be displayed?
