Hello, one of our employee's phones (VVX 410) has just stopped registering in the middle of the day. It was working at 3 PM, and by 4 PM it would come up and refuse to register. The phone is on an external network from our office network, but the outside link seems to be working, since every time the phone boots up, the 'Last Modified' time on the log files changes to the current time. I tried looking through the logs, but I can't seem to find anything that looks like an error. So, I'm going to attach both log files here to see if you guys can make some sense out of this.

Thanks in advance,

~CS

Hello @TWB503 ,

Welcome to the Poly Community.

The log shows:

0609154408|sip |4|00|Registration failed User: 305, Error Code:480 Temporarily not available

As the logging is not in debug we cannot tell much more than most likely something is blocking the registration.

Jan 19, 2012 Question: How to troubleshoot Polycom VoIP-related Issues?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

The above should help you to troubleshoot this.

There are also some configuration issues:

000028.313|cfg |4|00|Prm|Configuration file(s) statistics: 0 parameter values were used but were out of range. 18 were invalid and ignored.

Oct 11, 2011 Question: How can I troubleshoot configuration Issues via Log Files or the phone GUI?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

If you need further help, and no other volunteer is able to help please work with your Poly reseller.

In order to raise a support ticket, you need to work with your Poly reseller as they may need to do this for you.

End Customers are usually unable to open a ticket directly with Poly support. Available End User Poly services offerings are detailed here

NextUSA sold this phone back in 2017 and therefore the unit is no longer within the warranty please be prepared to Pay Per Incident / PPI. This is all outlined in detail here

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards
