Are there any strobe/flasher add ons that work with a VoIP PolyCom (specifically a 335)?

These are commonly used in loud environments or for hearing impaired.    Here's an analog example (that works off the analog phone's line voltage). http://www.amazon.com/Krown-Phone-Flasher/dp/B003E6LFCO

Obviously that isn't going to work off of a VoIP phone.   Any ideas?   I was thinking there might be something that would plug in through the headset jack.

Thanks,

Eric

Hello Eric,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

I am not aware of any 3rd Party device that would work with the Headset Port.

I'm also having the problem of the IP 335 ringer not being heard in some shop settings.  What is the port that's under the headset port?  it almost looks like some kind of power port?  Could it possibly be used to trigger a strobe when the phone rings?

Hello MHerman,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

The reply is still the same, there is no way to connect a strobe to the phone directly.

The community's VoIP FAQ contains this post here:

Oct 25, 2011 Question: How can I change my Ringtone or Ring in a special manner for a certain incoming call?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

Above explains how to add a loud ringer.
